"Egg Kebab"

"Egg Kebab" , is a typical classy dish made from egg and with little oil , this dish is variety dish taken independently with tomato sauce as its side dish ...this dish when done in your house party  it will definitely make your guests feel awesome and will remember you for sure when they do this dish at their place.

Note:This dish can be cooked either in non stick pan or grill with little oil coating over the dish.


"Egg Kebab"

Recipe

Ingredients

1. Egg - 2 nos

2. Big Onions - 1 no

3. Green chilly - 2 nos or to your taste

4. Kadalai maavu / chick pea flour batter  - 2 tblspn

5. Salt - to taste

6. Saunf - 1/2 tsp

7. Pav bhaji masala or garam masala - 1 tsp

8. Soya sauce - 1/2 tsp

9. Sugar - 1 pinch

10. Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp

11. Bread crumbs - To your needs or 3/4 cup

12. Curry leaves - 5-6 nos

13. Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup or to your needs

15. Oil - To fry

"Egg Kebab with Tomato Sauce"


Method

1. In a frying pan put some oil and add chopped onions , green chillies , curry leaves , saunf  and cook till onions gets golden brown and then kadalai maavu batter (add some water to 2 tblspn kadalai maavu and make to semi liquid state) and cook for 2-3 mins .

2. Now add salt, pav bhaji masala or garam masala to the pan and then add soya sauce and nicely cook for 2 -3 mins and a pinch of sugar and then add eggs,black pepper and nicely stir the mixture and finish your cooking and allow the mixture to get cooled and now add chopped coriander leaves to this mixture and make to desired shapes or as shown in picture and dip both sides well in bread crumbs and keep it aside.

3. Now in a non stick pan just leave few drops of oil and fry the cutlet shaped egg mixture both sides and finish your cooking and serve hot.

"Egg Pepper Gravy"

"Egg Pepper Gravy" is one special variety dish made with eggs and pepper in South India , the spicy taste of pepper in  this dish gives you a tremendous flavor and the oily look gives a real attraction when served.

Best when added with plain white rice and along with dosai and also good when taken along with curd rice .

"Egg Pepper Gravy"

Recipe

Ingredients

1. Eggs - 4 nos

2. Black pepper - 1 tblsp

3. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp

4. Saunf - 1 tsp

5. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp

6. Onion - 6 nos medium sized

7. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

8. Cinnamon - 1 inch sized 1 no

9. Cloves - 2 nos

10. Soya sauce - 1 tsp

11. Salt - to taste

12. Red chilly -  2 nos

13. Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp

14. Oil - 10-12 tblspn

15. Curry leaves - 7 - 8 nos

Method

1. In a mixer grinder , nicely grind black pepper, cumin seeds , saunf , chopped onions , ginger garlic paste , cinnamon, cloves with little water and grind to smooth paste consistency and keep it aside.

2. In a frying pan add 10-12 tblspn of oil and put mustard seeds, curry leaves  and red chillies and fry it (In Tamil: Thalipathu) and then add that smooth paste mentioned in point no.1 and add soya sauce , turmeric powder , salt and nicely cook till raw smell goes off and now nicely beat the eggs(both yellow and white) and add to this gravy and nicely stir and cook till oil gets separated and serve it hot.

3. You can also boil the eggs and just put in the gravy instead of beating them.

"Egg Kurma with Chilly and Coriander Powder"

"Egg Kurma" is one favorite dish in South India rich in protein contents as egg plays the major part of the dish and its taste really will conquer your taste buds and make you feel content and satisfied with the flavor and taste as this dish slightly touches non-veg taste so people who does not take mutton or chicken can try this and get satisfied.

Best side dish with white plain rice along with lime pickle and appalam, chapati, parotta, naan , idly and dosai , idiyappam of course its a versatile dish which suits with most of our other main dish varieties .

"Egg Masala with Chilly and Coriander Powder"

Recipe

Ingredients

1. Boiled Eggs - 4 nos.

2. Coriander powder - 2 tbl.spoon

3. Chilly powder - 1 teaspoon or to your taste.

4. Big onion- 3 nos.

5. Tomato - 2 nos.

6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon

7. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon

8. Cinnamon - 1 inch 1 no.

9. Cloves - 2 nos.

10. Coconut - 1/2 cup + some cashew.

11. Oil and Salt to taste.

12. Coriander leaves - To garnish

13. Boiled Potatoes - 3-4 nos

Method

1. In open cooker add cinnamon, cloves and chopped onions and cook till onion gets golden brown color.

2. Add ginger garlic paste to the mix and cook till raw smells goes off.

3. Add tomato cook for sometime and then add coriander powder, chilly powder and turmeric powder, salt and cook for sometime(vanakuvathu).

4. Add coconut cashew mix to the above contents and add some water along with boiled potatoes and close the cooker and cook for 2 whistles.

5. Finally add boiled eggs and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot!!
