" Sooji Bread Toast "

"Sooji Bread Toast" is one colorful and tastier bread toast snack recipe that has good flavor and aroma, it came out well thanks to "Sharmis Passions". The taste of this sooji bread toast will be really good and its toasted spicy batter coating is treat to your taste buds. It is quite simple to make and serve. 


Best when eaten independently or with tomato sauce.


"Sooji Bread Toast"

Recipe


Ingredients

1. Bread Slices - 4 slices

2. White Rava (Sooji) - 1/2 cup

3.  Big Onion - 1/2 no chopped

4.  Red chilli powder -  1 tsp

5. Yogurt - 1/2 cup

6. Coriander leaves chopped - 2 tsp 

7. Turmeric powder - a pinch 

8. Ghee to toast 

9. Salt - to taste


Method

1. Take a mixing bowl and add white rava , chopped onion , red chilli powder , yogurt , coriander leaves , turmeric powder , salt and mix all the ingredients and bring it to a batter form and keep it ready.

2. Now take a spoon full of batter and spread over one side of the bread and keep it ready.

3. Then add  1 tsp of  ghee to the heated tawa and gently place coated side of the bread on the tawa and toast it till mild golden brown color and flip the bread and spread the batter to other side of the bread and again toast till mild golden brown color , while doing this keep your flame in medium mode for best results.

4. Thats it our tasty Sooji bread toast is ready and serve it hot with tomato sauce .

"Peanut Chaat"

This is a good evening snack or good for any potluck as an appetizer.


"Peanut Chaat" 

Recipe

Ingredients


1. Raw peanuts - 1cup

2. Medium sized onion (finely chopped) - 1 no.

3. Small size tomato (finely chopped) - 1 no.

4. Green chillies(finely chopped) - 1 no.

5. Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 2 tbsp
6. Salt - 1/2 tsp

7. Chaat masala - To your needs

8. Lemon - 1/2 fruit


Method
1. Pressure cook the peanuts with salt  for 3-4 whistles and drain the water completely and put it in a bowl .

2. Add the onions , tomatoes , green chillies , coriander leaves , chaat masala n mix it well.

3. Squeeze half lemon and check the taste , you can always add extra lemon or chilli according to your taste buds.

Note : For extra taste you can add grated carrots and also raw green mango,some people like it very spicy and some like it lemony , so add chaat masala and lemon according to your taste.

"Bread Pizza" , is a simple and easy to make variety snack dish prepared with very little ingredients and its faster to make and whenever there are surprise guests at your home this dish plays a good foodie for them and they will definitely like it.

This dish can be served independently.

Recipe

Ingredients

1. Bread slices - 6 nos

2. Onion - 1 no

3. Tomato - 1 no

4. Basil leaves  chopped - To your needs

5. Cheese - To your needs

6. Salt and pepper - To your needs

7. Capsicum - 1 no

8. Tomato Sauce - To your needs

"Toppings - before Heating up in Oven"


Method

1. In a bowl add chopped onion , tomato , capsicum , basil leaves , salt , pepper and nicely mix it and top up to your bread slices and then spread some tomato sauce and then add cheese scraps and heat in oven for 5-10 mins at 300 degree centigrade or till cheese becomes hardened.

"Egg Kebab"

"Egg Kebab" , is a typical classy dish made from egg and with little oil , this dish is variety dish taken independently with tomato sauce as its side dish ...this dish when done in your house party  it will definitely make your guests feel awesome and will remember you for sure when they do this dish at their place.

Note:This dish can be cooked either in non stick pan or grill with little oil coating over the dish.


"Egg Kebab"

Recipe

Ingredients

1. Egg - 2 nos

2. Big Onions - 1 no

3. Green chilly - 2 nos or to your taste

4. Kadalai maavu / chick pea flour batter  - 2 tblspn

5. Salt - to taste

6. Saunf - 1/2 tsp

7. Pav bhaji masala or garam masala - 1 tsp

8. Soya sauce - 1/2 tsp

9. Sugar - 1 pinch

10. Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp

11. Bread crumbs - To your needs or 3/4 cup

12. Curry leaves - 5-6 nos

13. Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup or to your needs

15. Oil - To fry

"Egg Kebab with Tomato Sauce"


Method

1. In a frying pan put some oil and add chopped onions , green chillies , curry leaves , saunf  and cook till onions gets golden brown and then kadalai maavu batter (add some water to 2 tblspn kadalai maavu and make to semi liquid state) and cook for 2-3 mins .

2. Now add salt, pav bhaji masala or garam masala to the pan and then add soya sauce and nicely cook for 2 -3 mins and a pinch of sugar and then add eggs,black pepper and nicely stir the mixture and finish your cooking and allow the mixture to get cooled and now add chopped coriander leaves to this mixture and make to desired shapes or as shown in picture and dip both sides well in bread crumbs and keep it aside.

3. Now in a non stick pan just leave few drops of oil and fry the cutlet shaped egg mixture both sides and finish your cooking and serve hot.

"Potato Pizza"

"Home made Potato Pizza", no need much introduction , its good for a home made type pizza  however you can practice it and give it a try with your own creative toppings.

You can try it with non-veg like chicken or even you can try it with mushroom or use any toppings as per your creativity.


"Potato Pizza"

Recipe

Ingredients

Dough(Pizza Base) making

1. Maida Flour - 2 cups

2. Baking powder - 1/4 tsp

3. Salt - to taste

4. Water - required quantity

5. Vanaspathi or Dalda  - 1tblspn

6. Oil - 2-3 tsp

7. Egg white - 1 egg's


Method

1. Mix all the ingredients mentioned above in a bowl and make a dough to a soft consistency like we do for poori dough or even a little bit softer than it will be good consistency and keep it aside for atleast 1 hr.

2. Then flatten the dough like we do for chapatti but with minimum thickness of 1/2 an inch as shown in picture.

Ingredients for Toppings

1. Potato - 1/2 no

2. Tomato - 1/2 no

3. Big onion - 1/2 no

4. Chopped Mint leaves - (6-7 leaves)

5. Chopped Coriander leaves - To your required quantity

6. Butter - 2 tblspn or Cheese scraps- for topping

7. Green chilly - 1 no

8. Capsicum - 2-3  slices or to your required quantity

9.  Salt - To taste

10. Tomato sauce- 2 tblspn

Method

1. Slice the onions, tomatoes, green chillies , capsicum  and using a scrapper thin slice potato and put some salt and black pepper powder and mix all of them in  a bowl and keep it aside.

Ingredients for Potato dipping

1. Egg white - 1 tsp

2. Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp

3. Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp

4. Salt - to taste

5. Vinegar - 2-3 drops

6. Sugar - 1 pinch

Method

1. Mix all the ingredients and dip the thin sliced potato both sides well and keep it aside.

Final preparation for Pizza

1. Take the base and spread with tomato sauce first and then put the chopped mint leaves and then add the onion , tomato toppings prepared and then place the dipped potatoes and then butter or cheese finally and then place inside oven(pre heat for 2 mins at 700 degree centigrade before placing pizza inside) for 4 mins at 420 degree centigrade and finish your baking and serve hot.

"Gravy Bread Toast", is special bread toast variety kind of dish with a mixed flavor of onions,tomatoes and green chillies as major ingredients the consistency of this gravy and the aroma will be very majestic and you will love it for sure. This type of snack tiffin variety is easy to make and very tastier to eat apart from our regular type of just a bread toast.This bread toast is made with the help of electric sandwich toaster with grill and triangular plates.

This dish is best for evening times or morning breakfast and can be taken independently with any tomato sauce.


"Gravy Bread Toast"

Recipe

Ingredients

1. Sliced bread - 8 slices or to your needs.

2. Big Onion- 1 no.

3. Tomato - 2 nos medium sized.

4. Green chilly - 3 nos.

5. Tomato sauce -To spread over the bread.

6. Coriander leaves - 1 handful.

7. Salt - to taste

8. Oil and Ghee - To your taste.

Method

1. Nicely grind the onions,tomatoes,green chillies , coriander leaves, ghee ,salt in  mixer grinder and keep it separately.

2. Now nicely spread the tomato sauce over the two halves of the bread and top it with the onion mix from the mixer grinder and close the bread halves and nicely brush with oil over top and bottom of the closed bread and toast it in your sandwich toaster(Normally toast till golden brown color of the bread and dont toast for too long time then bread gets black colored and you will not get the desired taste).
