"Masala  Idly Fry" , is another simple , easier and tastier snack item that can be done faster. This dish has its own flavor and it will be delicious when eaten independantly too. The consistency  will be crunchier because of the bread crumbs which is added finally in this dish.




Masala Idly Fry

Recipe


Ingredients
1. Mini idly or full idly cut into small pieces 10-15 pieces.

2. Onion medium size - 1 no.

3. Tomato small size - 1 no.

4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp

5. Chilli powder -1 tsp

6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

7. Salt

8. Bread crumbs (optional) - 1tbsp


Method

1. This recipe can be made from left over idly , heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds , urad dhal and when it   starts to crackle add curry leaves and then add chopped onions and saute till it turns golden brown and then add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 more min.

2. Now add tomatoes , turmaric powder, chilli powder , salt and saute it till it gets cooked . 

3. You can add little water if u feel the mixture is too dry , next add the ldly in to it and mix it properly n close it with a lid n let it cook for 3min , so that all the flavour get into the idlies.

4. Then open the lid and add bread crumbs and mix it till it gets little dry , garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve hot .

Note:For extra flavour you can add grtaed carrot or chopped dcapsicum . 
Bread crumbs are added atlast to give a crunchy flavour to the dish.
