"Green Peas-Potato Veg Kurma " is famous for its taste itself,  as the flavor of peas and potato together with the spices gives an aroma with good taste and its consistency is moderate and not very thick which is normally good to serve and mix with rice while eating.

Best side dish for plain white rice, chapatti, lime pickle taken as side dish for this kurma dish when taking along with white rice really shoots up your taste buds.




Green Peas-Potato Veg Kurma

Recipe 
 
Ingredients

  1.       Green peas- 1 tumbler.

  2.       Potato- 1/4 kg

  3.       Onion- 2 nos.

  4.       Cinnamon- 1 inch 1 no.

  5.       Cloves – 2nos

  6.       Cardamom – 1 no

  7.       Saunf- 1/2 t.spoon

  8.       Ginger garlic paste  -1 t.spoon

  9.       Coconut – 1/2 cap.

  10.   Cashew nuts – 6 -7 nos.

  11.   Green chilly – 3 nos

  12.   Lemon juice- 1/2  t.spoon

  13.   Salt - to taste

  14.   Oil- 2 tbl spoon.

Method

  1.       Boil peas and keep it separately.

  2.       Cooker in open state:Put oil in cooker add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom,ginger garlic paste,saunf,green  chilly , chopped onion and cook till raw smell goes off.

  3.       Add potato to above mixture along with salt and cook for 2 mins.

  4.       Now close the cooker and wait for 3 whistles.

  5.       Then open the cooker and add coconut+cashew paste  and add that boiled peas to the mixture.

  6.       Add lemon juice for flavor.

  7.       Cook for 3-5 mins in cooker in closed state without weight and serve it.
